Andersen Tax & Legal in Germany is excited to announce two new Partners in Dusseldorf. Carsten Schröder specializes in construction and architect law, and Jan Fischer specializes in corporate and commercial law.
Prior to joining Andersen Tax & Legal, Carsten was a Partner at Peters Rechtsanwälte and Schröder Fischer Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. He specializes in private construction and real estate law. His work focuses on providing practical advice to construction companies, which he represents at all stages of the construction process up to court and arbitration proceedings. Carsten also advises and assists his clients in procurement issues and procedures and has extensive experience in real estate transactions. He studied at the University of Bochum.
Jan is specialized in the area of mergers and acquisitions and advises on bankruptcy/insolvency issues. He regularly advises companies, shareholders and executives with regards to the drafting of contracts, and provides advice regarding shareholder meetings, matters of liability, and in contract disputes. In addition, Jan has intensive knowledge of aviation law, representing an airline company for many years. His work is focused on international business.
Prior to Andersen Tax & Legal, Jan worked for the law firms Beiten Burkhardt Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, Kluth Rechtsanwälte and he was a Partner at Schröder Fischer Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. He attended the University of Passau and received his Masters at the University of Münster in the area of Mergers & Acquisitions.
